Working Principle

The refrigeration cycle of the water-cooled screw chiller is based on the reverse Carnot cycle principle. The compressor compresses the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas into a high-temperature and high-pressure gas, which is then sent to the condenser. In the condenser, the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas releases heat to the external environment through the circulation of cooling water and condenses into a high-pressure liquid. After the high-pressure liquid is decompressed by the throttling device, it enters the evaporator. Inside the evaporator, the low-pressure liquid refrigerant absorbs the heat of the chilled water, evaporates into a low-temperature and low-pressure gas, thus reducing the temperature of the chilled water. The low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas is then sucked back into the compressor, starting a new round of the refrigeration cycle. This continuous cycle ensures stable and consistent cooling performance.
